The colour formulas crafted by your stylist during your appointment are custom-made and tailored specifically for your hair, taking into account factors like your hair’s condition, your desired outcome, and unique characteristics. These bespoke formulas are proprietary to Radical Hair and are a testament to the expertise and creative expression of our stylists.
As such, Radical Hair retains ownership of these custom colour formulas. We are not obligated to disclose these formulas to clients or any third parties.
Our aim is to provide an exceptional client experience to all our clients and to ensure we maintain the highest standards possible. We do everything possible to meet your expectations and ensure you love your hair.
The outcome of salon services can be significantly influenced by the condition of your hair. Factors such as hair history, texture, strength, and overall health play a crucial role in how your hair responds to treatments. Whilst we guarantee to use our expertise and high-quality products, the final result may vary depending on these inherent characteristics of your hair.
If you have concerns with your hair after your in-salon appointment, please get in touch with us within 14 days and we may arrange a time for you to come back in for a complimentary rectification appointment within 7 days of you contacting the salon. This allows for an open discussion about the possible results, considering the specific limitations, conditions of your hair and the cost of your service.
In instances of change of mind or where more work is needed outside what was discussed in consultation, we will need to charge you for the service provided accordingly. Please understand that we do not offer refunds, credits, or redo services if the result does not meet your expectations due to a change of mind post-service.
Please note that if you do not contact us within 14 days about your concerns, your appointment will be considered a new appointment and you will be charged accordingly. We will not provide refunds for services provided.
We will provide a refund or replacement for faulty products that have been purchased within 30 days. The product must be in its original condition. Please contact us via email or come into the salon to arrange replacement of a faulty product.
Colour correction services are advanced, highly-customised services offered by Radical Hair and differ from standard colour appointments due to their complexity and variability. Every correction journey is unique, and results, timing and total cost can only be determined after an in-person consultation and professional hair assessment by Radical Hair.
All colour correction services require a consultation before booking. During this appointment, we assess your current hair condition, colour history and previous chemical services, and discuss your goals and realistic outcomes. Pricing is provided on consultation and may vary depending on the time, product and number of sessions or further services required as assessed by Radical Hair.
Corrective colour services often need to be completed over multiple appointments to achieve the safest and most consistent result. While we always work toward your desired outcome, results cannot be guaranteed in a single session, especially where there is previous box dye, dark colour build-up, uneven lightening, compromised hair condition or undisclosed chemical history. We prioritise the integrity and health of your hair over speed of change.
Clients must disclose all previous colour and chemical history honestly, including but not limited to at-home colour, smoothing treatments, henna or other chemical services to Radical Hair. Undisclosed history may affect results and hair safety, and we cannot be held responsible for any compromised outcomes where full information has not been provided by the client.
Recommended aftercare and maintenance advice should be followed to support the longevity and condition of your corrected colour. Results will vary depending on home care and product use.
If you have concerns about your corrective colour result, please contact the salon within 14 days so we can arrange a review. Any adjustments, where appropriate, are offered at Radical Hair’s discretion. Change of mind is not considered a correction.
We do our best to accommodate each booking request. All appointments are subject to availability. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred stylist, date and time.
New clients and selected services, including hair extensions, may require a consultation prior to booking an appointment for a service.
Quotes for services cannot be provided over the phone, via email or social media. You will be quoted prior to the commencement of your service or during your consultation appointment in salon.
All online bookings need to be approved by Radical Hair before confirmation of your booking. In instances where an appointment conflicts with our schedule, we will call the client to find an alternative time and/or date. If you don’t require a consultation prior to your service, it is your responsibility to select the service you are wanting. In the instance the incorrect service has been selected, we will do our best to accommodate you for your desired service, however, we cannot guarantee we can accommodate in every situation.
While all appointments will have an in-salon consultation prior to starting the service, some services require a consultation prior to booking the service. These include but are not limited to Great Lengths Extension application, colour correction and smoothing treatments.
We will send you a confirmation SMS 4 days prior to your appointment. If we do not hear from you, we will either send you another confirmation text or call you on the mobile number provided at the time of booking. Radical Hair takes no responsibility to ensure the accuracy of information provided by you for online bookings.
You have up to 24 hours for week day appointments and 48 hours for late night or Saturday appointments to confirm your appointment. If we don’t hear from you within that allotted time based on the day of your appointment, we reserve all rights to cancel your appointment. If you were required to pay a deposit for your booking and we did not hear from you, our no-show policy will come into effect and any deposit paid will be forfeited by you.
A deposit is required in some instances to secure your appointment with Radical Hair. The amount of the deposit to be paid will be clearly outlined at the time of booking and applied towards your final service total on the day of your in-salon visit.
All new clients are required to pay a deposit for their first appointment with us. All online bookings require a deposit to secure the requested appointment time. For certain services, particularly longer, specialised or transformation appointments such as extensions, smoothing services and major colour work, a deposit may be required for each visit. Where this applies, it will always be communicated to you during the booking process.
Please see our cancellation policy below for more information.
We value both our time and yours. We understand and appreciate that life can interrupt any and all plans, even those plans that are booked well in advance.
We require 24 hours notice for weekday appointments and 48 hours for late night or Saturday appointments for a cancellation or change of appointment. For those who have paid a deposit for their service, your deposit will be forfeited and used as the cancellation or rescheduling fee. For those who were not required to pay a deposit, a cancellation or rescheduling fee will be added to your account and will need to be paid prior to booking any future appointments. For those who cancel or reschedule 3 times in a row, you will be required to pay a deposit for any future bookings that will be taken off the cost of your service.
This policy is due to the significant challenge of filling last-minute vacancies, particularly for appointments requiring extended durations, such as colour or extension services. This policy is in place to cover the operational costs and to support our staff financially.
Late arrivals will disrupt our schedule for the rest of the day and we value providing our services according to booking allotments. If you might be running more than 10 minutes late for your appointment with us, we appreciate you calling the salon as soon as you know. In some cases, we may also be required to modify your service; however we aim to be as accommodating as we can be in these circumstances. If you realise you will be more than 30 minutes late, we will be required to reschedule your appointment and 50% of your appointment’s quote will be required to secure your rescheduled booking.
If you do not show up for your appointment or fail to reschedule within the permitted timeframe, for any reason, you will forfeit your deposit.
Gift vouchers purchased from Radical Hair may be redeemed towards all salon services and products offered by Radical Hair. Vouchers are valid for three years from the original date of purchase and must be used within this period. Expiry dates are fixed and cannot be extended under any circumstances.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, in whole or in part. Any unused balance remains available for use until the expiry date. Partial redemptions are permitted within the three-year validity period, allowing the voucher value to be used across multiple visits or purchases until the full amount has been redeemed or the voucher expires, whichever occurs first.
Please treat your gift voucher like cash. Lost, stolen or damaged vouchers are not the responsibility of Radical Hair and may not be replaced or refunded. We are unable to honour vouchers that cannot be presented or verified.
Gift vouchers are transferable and may be gifted to another person, however they may only be redeemed by the holder at the time of presentation. Radical Hair reserves the right to verify voucher details before redemption.
Our refer a friend program is our way of saying thank you for sharing the Radical Hair community with others. When an existing client refers a new guest to the salon, both the referrer and the referee receive a reward to enjoy at their next visit.
The referring client will receive a $30 credit plus a complimentary luxury treatment. The new client being referred will receive a $20 credit plus a complimentary luxury treatment. These rewards may be used toward any salon service, regardless of service value.
Referral rewards are valid for use on a future appointment only and cannot be applied to the same-day or current booking in which the referral occurs. Credits and complimentary treatments must be redeemed at the client’s next service visit.
To qualify, the referred guest must be a new client to Radical Hair and must mention the referrer’s name at the time of booking or before checkout at their first appointment, to be verified by Radical Hair. Radical Hair reserves all rights to refuse a referral reward if we cannot verify the referrer. Rewards will be issued after the referred client has completed and paid for their first service.
Referral rewards are not redeemable for cash, are non-transferable once issued, and cannot be exchanged for retail products unless otherwise stated. Credits cannot be combined with other promotional offers, discounts or package deals unless approved by Radical Hair.
Complimentary luxury treatments included in the referral reward are salon-selected and subject to suitability based on your hair type, condition and service booked. No cash alternative will be provided for the treatment component.
Radical Hair reserves all rights to modify, pause or end the referral program at any time without notice, and to withhold rewards where referral conditions have not been met or are believed to be misused.
Coming soon — details to follow.
All extension applications require a consultation with an extension technician before booking. During this appointment, we will assess your current hair, your hair history, and your desired outcome. From here, we will discuss the amount of hair extensions you require for your desired look, colour match the extensions to your hair colour and give you a quote. Once you have confirmed you are satisfied with the quote and colours, we will take your deposit, book your application service in and order your bonds.
All appointments for hair extensions require a deposit for the services and payment in full and in advance of all hair purchased from Great Lengths or other supplier of the hair to be used for the service. For Great Lengths services, each client can refer to their consultation form signed at time of booking.
All extension services and hair supplied, including keratin bonds and tapes, are covered under our quality assurance guidelines and the policies of our professional extension partners, including but not limited to Great Lengths.
If you have any concerns about the quality, performance or feel of your extensions, please contact the salon and arrange an in-person assessment with your stylist within 14 days of your installation appointment. This allows us to properly review the hair and application and, where appropriate, work with our partnered brands toward a resolution. Concerns raised outside this period may not be eligible for assessment or replacement under brand policy.
To maintain eligibility under quality and performance guarantees, all recommended aftercare instructions must be followed. This includes using Great Lengths recommended aftercare and styling products, using the prescribed Great Lengths extension brush, and following the daily care and maintenance guidelines explained during your appointment and provided to you in written form.
Clients are responsible for maintaining their extensions as directed, including correct brushing technique, home care routines and recommended maintenance appointment timing. Failure to follow advised aftercare, use suitable products and tools, or attend scheduled maintenance may affect the longevity, performance and warranty eligibility of the extensions.
We are always here to support you through your extension journey and encourage you to reach out early with any questions. Proper care and early communication give the best chance for the best outcome.
Cancellation of appointments regarding hair extensions at any time will mean forfeiting your deposit paid and any amounts paid for hair ordered. This is clearly stated in the Consultation Form signed at time of booking.
At Radical Hair, we love showcasing our work and sharing the beautiful results we create with our clients. From time to time, we may request to take photographs or videos of your hair for education, portfolio and promotional purposes.
We will always ask your permission before capturing any photo or video and will confirm whether you are comfortable with your face being visible or if you would prefer hair-only images. Participation is completely voluntary, and you are welcome to decline at any time.
All images and video content taken within the salon remain the property of Radical Hair. Where consent is given, this content may be used for marketing, education and promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website content, digital advertising and printed materials. Usage and selection of content is at Radical Hair’s discretion.
No compensation is offered for the use of photography or videography content. If you withdraw consent after images have been taken, we will make reasonable efforts to stop future use; however, we cannot guarantee removal from materials already published or distributed.
We appreciate your support in allowing us to share our work and inspire others through real client results.
At Radical Hair, we are committed to providing a welcoming, respectful and safe environment for both our clients and our team. We ask that all interactions within the salon reflect courtesy, kindness and mutual respect.
Our team reserves the right to refuse, pause or discontinue a service where reasonably necessary. This may include, but is not limited to, situations where a client’s hair or scalp condition makes the requested service unsafe or unsuitable, where accurate service history has not been disclosed, where expectations are not achievable within safe or reasonable limits, or where proceeding would compromise hair integrity or result quality. In these cases, we will always explain our reasoning and, where possible, suggest an alternative plan.
We also reserve the right to refuse service to any client displaying inappropriate, aggressive, offensive, unlawful, unsafe or disrespectful behaviour toward staff or other clients or guests. This includes abusive language, harassment, discrimination, intoxication, threatening conduct or repeated disregard for salon policies. If a service is discontinued due to behavioural concerns or safety issues, charges may still apply for the portion of the service already performed.
While we take every care during your service, Radical Hair Community is not responsible for damage to personal belongings, including clothing, jewellery or accessories. We recommend wearing suitable attire to your appointment and keeping personal items safely stored away from chemicals, products, water and salon tools used during your visit.
Although accidental contact can occasionally happen despite our best efforts, we are not liable for any damage to personal items. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us keep both you and your belongings protected during your service.
Radical Hair will not be liable for any costs you have incurred through third-party services or products recommended by Radical Hair.
We use, collect, and store your personal information through our website and at every salon location, adhering to the guidelines outlined in our Privacy Policy.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate personal, purchase and account information for all purchases made at Radical Hair. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to these Terms. Radical Hair reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, without prior notice to you. Any amendments will be published on our website.
It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
If any of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms. Such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
By using our website or any online platform associated with us, you agree not to share or transmit any content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise offensive. Additionally, while in our salon, we expect all clients to behave respectfully. Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour may result in being asked to leave, ensuring a positive environment for everyone.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the state of New South Wales, and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New South Wales courts.
Certain content, products and Services available via our Service may include materials from third parties. Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites, or for any other materials, products, or Services of third-parties.
We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, Services, resources, content, or any other transactions made in connection with any third-party websites. Please review carefully the third-party’s policies and practices and make sure you understand them before you engage in any transaction. Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products should be directed to the third-party.
If, at our request, you send certain specific submissions (for example contest entries) or without a request from us, you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, ‘comments’), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any comments in confidence; (2) to pay compensation for any comments; or (3) to respond to any comments.
We may, but have no obligation to, monitor, edit or remove content that we determine in our sole discretion to be unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party’s intellectual property or these Terms of Service.
You agree that your comments will not violate any right of any third-party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary right. You further agree that your comments will not contain libelous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website. You may not use a false email address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third-parties as to the origin of any comments. You are solely responsible for any comments you make and their accuracy. We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any comments posted by you or any third-party.
Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).
We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information in the Service or on any related website, including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied in the Service or on any related website should be taken to indicate that all information in the Service or on any related website has been modified or updated.
In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in the Terms of Service, you are prohibited from using the site or its content:
We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service or any related website for violating any of the prohibited uses.
You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the Service is at your sole risk. The Service and all products and Services delivered to you through the Service are (except as expressly stated by us) provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ for your use, without any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.
In no case shall Radical Hair, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, Service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the Service or any products procured using the Service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the Service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the Service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the Service, even if advised of their possibility. The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes.
These Terms are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms of Service at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services, or when you cease using our site.
If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these Terms, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to our Services (or any part thereof).
The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
